I wake up to the most beautiful hazel eyes, my hand in yours
we begin our day underneath the sunrise
It took me awhile to get here but I did it somehow
As I look around I realize how much I have to be thankful for and I'm finally happy now
Did you know that I owe it all to you?

I was lost and drifting before you came along
Empty words and darkness were written in my songs
The candle had blown out a long time ago but you relit it with your love
Now I'm counting my blessings and full of things to be proud of

You found me when no one else was looking
You heard me when no one else was listening
You understood me when everyone else quit trying
You bandaged the wounds to my broken heart and stopped the bleeding
You saved a life so many thought wasn't worth saving
You showed me how to be a better person
You made sense when everything was uncertain
Everything I have, everything I am - I owe it all to you!
